I don't know what happened.

I was playing around with my glorified Zune, AKA my Windows phone that
I foolishly thought might have some utility as a phone in 2023. I left
it on... It's not a terrible media player or anything, but it's just
not very useful outside of playing music or MP4s.

And tonight I was startled. There's an update. If you read my previous
post about it (sometime in 2023), you'll know that I was really peeved
that the Windows Store is unavailable and it's basically impossible to
download know or "included" software.

As I'm writing this, the phone is updating to Windows Phone 8.1. I'm
not sure how this happened. If it's a glitch at MSFT, an error like
how Xbox Live 1.0 stayed up for hours and hours after it was supposed
to shut down.

I'll probably write another glog entry after I figure out whether this
is actually useful or not. Probably not, but I'll still try to write a
follow-up regardless.

EDIT: It's really not useful. No Store/account access. I'm not sure
how an update managed to get pushed (I don't even have a SIM), but it
happened.
