There continues to be lots of new activity in gopherspace. Always great to see. I notice leveck.us moved his phlog to SDF [0], and is now using slerm. Let me know how it works for you, also note there is a newer version of slerm with a few bugfixes (1.8) available in my gopherspace [1]. Logout's Bongusta [2] is now aggregating 22 phlogs. Simply awesome. Tomasino writes about deep-diving into sites [3]. I do this as well, when I come across a new site, and I also did it years ago when the web was in its infancy. Fravia's site in particular was a goldmine. It is very rare that I do this nowadays outside of gopher, since no one has homepages anymore, and I steer well clear of the 'look at me' social media craze. And I suspect that taking the time to read and perhaps comment on something via an email or another phlog entry leads to more civil and reasoned discourse. Slower, for sure, but much preferable to the knee-jerk, emotional, thoughtless commenting common on today's web.
