I don't 'follow' the news.  But because I'm weak willed,
I scan the headlines against my own best judgement.  For
me it's like reading the obituaries to see which of the
Seven Virtues [1] or Eightfold Paths died in a tenement
fire overnight.

                     "And the devil is downhearted babe,
           'cause there's nothing left for him to claim"

[1] Well SIX Virtues anyway. That bitch Chasitiy can be
dead in a ditch somewhere and I'd say 'good riddance'.
