THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEWHERE I'D RATHER BE

A comic about daydreaming, among other spatial occupations.

       Here, there, anywhere

No matter how nice the view, how soothing the environment, sometimes I
don't want to be where I am and my mind drifts to other places I'd
rather be. It's not for lack of appreciating what's before me that I
wander. It's an often unease or inability of settling into my current
thoughts and feelings that causes my mind to project itself into
worlds of its own making. In these worlds the colours are brighter and
the desire for wellness is fulfilled. Whatever present worries plague
me are absent. It's a happy place. But I wonder: if I've found myself
in the environment of my dreaming, would my mind still imagine
       somewhere I'd rather be?
