SDF's dialup resaler has decided to go out of business. 

We have currently put in an order to setup a realm for 'tenex.org' with
level3, uu.net, sprint, qwest and other tier 1 level providers.

This is a great oppourtunity for SDF as we will have direct control over
authentication which will allow PPP/SLIP, but also direct UNIX connections.
All connections will support up to 56K with ISDN support in most major cities.

Coverage should remain the same and infact should be expanded.  You will be
able to use the 'getdialup' command to query the new numbers soon.

The current dues for dialup are between $12 and $15 depending on how many
months of dialup service you need.  Because our costs are reduced, we will
be able to have lower membership dues than what most commercial service
providers (such as netzero/juno ..) charge.  Please vote wisely.

A 'web excelerator' uses server side compression and caching to reduce the
size of pages before they reach your dial-up computer and decrease the time
it takes for to view websites.
