1. Enable "short URLs" in Administration > System > Xanthia > Configure Xanthia
2. Copy .htaccess from
modules/Xanthia/pndocs/short_urls/phtml/ to root Postnuke folder
(make sure the "Extension to use for short URLs" in Xanthia matches the .htaccess you're using; phtml for the file in /phtml/, html for the file in /html/, etc.)
Note that any files with that extension will be "taken over" by Postnuke. (So, if you want to have non-Postnuke HTML pages on your webspace, make sure they have a different extension: ie, if you chose .html, make the other pages .htm. I chose .phtml, since most HTML files are either .html or .htm.)
*Note: Go to Administration > System > Blocks and change the absolute links in the Main Menu to the extension you've chosen.

Issue: Image (for example) won't show up on page.
Check that the file's permissions are 755.
