ASCII BENEFACTOR ---------------- The Covid-19 situation in Montreal Since the past 2 weeks, everything has changed At first, only the public buildings such as libraries, gyms etc had restrictions to prevent the virus. However now things are different, essential businesses are now closed. Groceries are running low on wares to sell, thanks to the prior weeks of mass precepitations by everyone trying to secure some food for their families. I never expected to live something like that in my lifetime. Today the city is under lockdown, it may be possible to get arrested for being homeless as a "prevention" mesure. Outside it feels surreal, the streets are empty. The few places that are still open are scarcely populated by few people unlucky enough to work away from their home, and such is for the few faces you can see on the sidewalk, the only workers who still transit everyday to reach their job. Could their boss grant them safety against the virus? Ill see what happens next but apocalypse is not something that I fear for a minute. I think id rather love it...
