One of my passions in life is bike riding. Today I rode 70km with a couple of work colleagues. The ride was along an old railway line in south eastern Victoria, Australia, which has been converted into a rail trail. We started at Leongatha and rode 35km to Fish Creek via Koonwarra, Meeniyan, Stony Creek and Buffalo. Had lunch at the pub then turned around to head back. Had a bit of a head wind and it was a long climb out of Fish Creek (not steep, but went on for about 7km). Had a coffee and caramel slice in Meeniyan. We were all feeling quite fatigued by Koonwarra, and the last 10km was pretty hard. We had great day. Beautiful scenery and the weather was pretty good for this time of the year. I'm going to have sore legs tomorrow. --- bradmac@freeshell.org 2017-08-13
