I'm sorry to say that I've left SDF. Well, as a web host provider anyway. I've been frustrated with my php pages being unusable for a while now due to regular internal server 500 errors. This was an intermittent thing and I was confident it wasn't my pages causing the errors - they hadn't changed and I had not fiddled with anything such as structure or permissions in my html folder. I brought the issue up on bboard and suggested that users be provided with access to php error logs so see what he problem/s is/were. I got supported in that suggestion from another member. And that was the end of that. The last three days have rendered all php scripts unusable. In my frustration, I bought a new domain and got it hosted by a commercial provider. I have spent the last couple of days transferring mysql databases over and amending my web pages to work on the new site. My php scripts work fine. I have access to all sorts of error logs, so when something doesn't work, I can fix it. Why can't we do this on SDF? --- 2017-10-08 bradmac@freeshell.org
