It's been a while, but I've got a pretty good excuse. My father died on 29/12/2017. He was 81 years old. Not a bad innings. He's been quite ok over Christmas and seemed to be happy, even if he was not eating much, but did enjoy some red wine. We had the funeral last Friday - a week ago today. As far as funerals go it was pretty good. A positive thing is that I have re-connected with some relatives on my father's side. I did the eulogy at the funeral which I found pretty stressfull and I'm glad it's done. People said thanks and that it was good. Why do we wait until people die before we say nice things about them? --- bradmac@sdf.org 2018-01-12
