It's been frantic at work. Normally I have an offsider who shares the
workload but he's been absent on a week's leave and some other
commitments prior to that and he wasn't replaced.  I've got double the
workload, and it's monthly reporting time. At times like this I often
feel that I'm getting past my time here and retirement sounds pretty
good.

Every dark cloud has a silver lining as they say.  Next week I'm
heading off to south east Asia for a 6 week tour of Singapore,
Malaysia and Vietnam with my wife.  

They can throw anything they like at me this week at work, but I know
this time next week it will all be someone else's problem!
