Costco usually has pretty good prices. People commonly
believe that Costco has the best prices. That's not 
true but if Costco doesn't have the best price then
they are usually pretty close. However, that should 
never absolve you of the responsibility to comparison
shop if you want to maximize your dollar.

Today I saw an electric water kettle being sold at
costco for $39.99. I bought that same water kettle
a few days ago from Walmart for $26.99. I'm well to do
enough that I wouldn't quibble over a few bucks but
an almost 50% price difference is pretty steep.
