Phew it's been awhile since I've posted to my phlog. Unfortunately
I got into a car accident. No injuries for anyone but the back half
of my car was completely trashed. I was rear-ended by a lifted
pickup truck and being in a sedan that meant that I had all the
damage and the truck had none.

Supply chain being what it is, it means that basically  my car is
going to be in the shop for 20 days. It's actually already been 2
weeks and they are estimating that it won't even be done until
until November 30th. So that's actually a full month that it will
be in the shop. Hopefully it will come out earlier than that.

sigh.

In other news, for those living in the USA, the advent of the
commercial holiday known as Christmas is upon us. One of the local
radio stations has already changed their format to play all holiday
music about 5 days ago which is frankly absurd. I'm old enough to
remember when this radio station started the holiday music tradition
for Christmas Day only!

Then they started playing holiday music for Christmas to New Years.
Then they started playing holiday music for the entire month of
December which brought them crazy good ratings.  Then they started
playing Christmas music starting at Thanksgiving until New Years.
And now they are starting Christmas music on the 2nd week of
November?

I love Christmas as much as the next person but there are really
only so many holiday songs you can listen to before you go bonkers.
