Back to SDF, back to gopher

This June has been quite tumultuous. Articles are retracted,
authors imprisoned, whole websites taken down. And the wider
World is not so much better, as privacy continues to be violated,
data keeps being leaked, and activists doxxed or silenced.

These threats, perceived or not, made me reconsider what to do
when facing them, and more importantly, what to do when most
things are lost.

I am glad that I still can connect to SDF and share my thoughts
with the community here. Again, the limited capabilities of
gopher turns out to be a blessing. When the city is sacked, a
plain hut is safer than a splendid palace.

So, not without humiliation, I am back to my long neglected
gopherspace and this time I try to make it more organized and of
value to myself, the future myself, and whoever stumbles into
this corner of the Internet.
