I found this old article I wrote quite a few years ago as I was dabbling around hackthissite.org. I found it out on blogspot, someone had borrowed it. So here it is..... Thursday, January 27, 2005 Anarchism (Borrowed From Daedelus) Anarchism, daedeluslanthanien, and the new world order. Hello, I am daedelus, I am a 31 year old man. I am an intellectual, and a freedom fighter. I have laid hidden for many years now. I spent thoseyears studying a vast array of knowledge from the mundane to the arcane. Now it is my time to surface, I refuse to hide. To get this article started lets look at this, I wrote it a couple weeks ago: ___________________________________________________________ Notice the HEALTHY touch of semantic bullshit, eh? good, do the same, this is a good warning, trust me. ___________________________________________________________ "Fiction of the Artiste Maudit" (Damned or doomed Artist) One night as I worked at that which I love, I stepped out into a freezing cold but crystal clear night and looked to the heavens. A shooting star flashed across the sky. Being only a mortal man trapped by the chains of Heaven and Hell, I made a wish which I cannot reveal. As the last spoken word slipped off my tongue it was sealed in the heavens by yet another, and Hell too agreed. I have always done pretty well in life. There really is nothing more that I could want but that one thing. I was raised as a Lutheran Protestant, my desires flourishing, always sure that all of mankind held love in their hearts. I am much older now. I hold no degree or acclaim from the establishment. Never really cared, for now I throw them away like toilet paper smeared with my best wishes for them all. My thirst for knowledge is insatiable and my trade has made me strong. You will come to know me. I am Daedelus Lanthanien, harbinger and purveyor of the "Golden Fox Network". To my Anarchist allies I will bring joy. To my enemies I will bring pure eviscerating fear. You have made me a master of semantic bullshit and the seer of lies, lies, lies. I will bring back the guillotine of my forefathers so that I may hear it ring through self-serving necks. The heads I will give to my Indian grandmothers, armed with gimlets. They will clean out your eyes and ears so that you will be more aware. "Set the riot lines aflame" Daedelus Lanthanien "end Fiction of the Artiste Maudit" (Damned or doomed Artist) ___________________________________________________________ It's a fiery piece, I meant it to be, it had to be for the mood I find myself in more and more. I never really wanted things to go this way, it's just how it is. The definition of anarchy, without ANY political twist to make people feel better about participating in this: Anarchy; #1 A state of society without government and law. #2 Political and social disorder due to the absence of governmental control. #3 A theory that regards the absence of all direct or coercive government as a political ideal and that proposes the cooperative and voluntary association of individuals and groups as the principal mode of organized society. #4 confusion; chaos; disorder. Now for Anarchist: Anarchist; #1 A person who advocates or believes in anarchy or anarchism. #2 A person who seeks to overturn by violence all constituted forms and institutions of society and government, with no purpose of establishing any other system of order. #3 A person who promotes disorder or excites revolt against any established rule, law, or custom. and finally anarchism: Anarchism; #1 A doctrine urging the abolition of government or governmental restraint as the indispensible condition for full society and political liberty. #2 The methods or practices of Anarchists. So there we have it, plain and simple really. If you look around at the anarchist groups out there you are going to find a stunning array of different twists. It's wierd how many people tweak it to suit their needs. Me? well I tend to be a purist about this type of thing. Somewhere along the line I just came to the conclusion that I am not scared to die. My suggestion to anyone brave enough to come along is to make peace with this or you'll be luke warm. Nobody converted me or told me how to live. I just had to open my eyes and it all came quite naturally. Now a point has to be made about being smart. It is very foolish to start any shit when you are alone, you will die for nothing and achieve nothing. The sands of time will quickly erase your existance and the powers that be count on this. Why? Why is Daedelus like this? Is he nuts?!? I have no qualms about these kind of questions at all. So I will try to explain what I think is nuts. I'm not going to delve into the failed Spanish anarchist movement, Nor Nietzke, Chomsky, the feminist, none of that.My story starts with my great X8 grandfather. He was a Frenchman. After getting to the small outpost of Detroit he built a small raft and paddled it across two great lakes and finally up the mouth of the Menominee River in Northern Wisconsin. At that time this was a wild and fantastic forest that stretched for miles and miles. He set-up a place to live after getting to know the Menominee tribe. The next spring he returned to Detroit and picked up his wife. The game was plentiful, he had children, and life was good.A few generations of my family enjoyed this life, some of them married into the tribe, a few moved on. This was not to be for long because a grave mistake was made. My grandfather and others from across the waters had guns. The Frenchmen and braves liked the firestick, gunpowder, whiskey, and other temptations. So trade developed with Detroit in a frenzied fashion when the spring waters ran. Luxurious furs made there way to Paris, and London. North America was truely seen as the horn of plenty. Britian and France were fierce competitors, many merchants became rich overnight and others wanted it too. Before to long war came to the Northwoods, lots of battles few of us know of. It became a game of fur companies buying mercenaries, and a quick death lurked in the woods. It became a see-saw of gruesome acts for many years. Men, women, children it did not matter. For the women it was sometimes worse than death, many were traded due to their supple vaginas, like livestock. The Brits eventually decided that North America was too great a prize and built up their garrisons strongly and the French followed suit. Wooden forts were built by the french in key interior positions on the rivers as the British strengthened their positions on the east coast. The first battle went poorly for the British many were slain, George Washington was among this group as the remainder ran for their lives. The tribes and the Frenchmen followed and chopped all but the fastest to pieces. The British were horrified and devised a plan. The next time they advanced to the interior they cut a road. This allowed them to bring heavy cannon along, supplies, and reinforcements quickly. The French were at a loss because their routes were riverine to the lakes and on to detroit. They suffered a huge defeat that year, and the British claimed their prize soon after. I know that you are probally asking what this has to do with me being a anarchist by now, lol. So I will tell you that the moral of this story is human nature and greed. This stage of our history to me is the spread of the capitolist monster that has us squarely locked in it's teeth now. I don't hate Brits either, our families fought like men. So first it was furs, then timber, and on and on it went. Now this country is devastated ecologically from sea to sea. In little more then 200 years almost all of it bears the mark of man. People call this shit stunning growth! To me it is nothing but a stunning mutation, rank with ignorance. This Northwoods tale still does not mark the bottom not yet. We still knew how to fight face to face til death for our ideals, even by hand if neccesary. Tough men and women that had rock hard constitutions and the will to make it in life their way. War, I have reams of data on war. There is not one single thing that is more life changing than war, with maybe the exception of disease. Another compelling thing about life that comes to mind now is history, which has proven to repeat itself. Over and over again generations find this confronting us, like some curse from the depths of hell. I won't stay on this for long but I feel the need to mention a few points That I find intrueging about the Revolutionary war. George Washington bites the hand that fed him, real nice. Thomas Jefferson, a man that I dwelled on for quite some time before I realized something. He calls this country an "experiment". Again after thinking about this I came to the conclusion that it pisses me off. I am living in a experiment, great. If you take a good look at the plains stretching out from Leavenworth, Kansas you can still see the trail left from the wagon trains heading west. When this trail was being cut, so were the heads of every Native American tribe in the way. It started in the east mowing over tribe after tribe. Guns, cannon, smallpox, whatever it took. The iron rail came, the buffalo fell too, by the thousands. The ignorance that started the dust bowl came along. Life on the plains was changed forever. At this time the Mexicans were pushed back to the Rio Grand and the southern states were in full swing on the backs of slave labor. There was some thought put to repatriating them earlier by Thomas Jefferson The cost was deemed to high, over 90 million dollars at the time, and the south protested. At that time they did not want them to go and now the whites are heading towards being a minority, ha ha, life sure is funny. Now I am going to lump the Civil war, WW I, And WW II into one big fat pile. The reason for this is the fact that this is the time when modern industrialization boomed, and sowed the seeds for human machinations of mass destruction. The southern states fell to the boom of repeating rifles, modern factories, and again the iron rail took another victim. The best way to win wars was again paved by technology. WW I, was again about technology, faster guns, devastating artillery, the new beast called the tank, and the start of air power. This time though was different, the technology was spreading faster. Both sides were pretty even and many men died. The pride of man continued to the last minute even though the generals knew that an armistice was imminent. Charge!! was the word. WW II, really was a hottie, with the birth of many weapons including fissile nuclear material. The American government stole it from Germany. It fell into their hands as intellectual scientists picked the lesser of 2 evils. We prevailed because of the great expanse of the Atlantic ocean. Current weapons technology simply was not capable of bringing the war home to us, yet. So our factories and infrastructure made it through the war with mere scratches allowing us to undertake this massive task. Shortly after the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were literally melted. Silouhettes of vaporized human beings being the only thing to mark some of their deaths. My grandfather was shot 8 times by the Japanese and he lost every single soldier he had in his platoon. I know he did not love them, but the atom bomb still horrified even him.It horrifies me too, and everybody I know. So we have made it this far. We are through the Bay of Pigs and the cold war. But proliferation continues, biological weapons are hitting the scene and this ride shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. Most of our best thinkers are getting rather figgety, every diploma that gets handed out comes with a hard moral choice now. Some could care less, others are silenced, and a precious few provide all the warnings that we should need. As I sit here and write this, there is a field I know of that is 35 miles away from my home. It has a nice view of the lake a few hundred yards off in the distance. But you won't find me near it, right next to it sits large concrete containers filled with tons of burnt up uranium waste from the nuke plant. This place is a lurking death warrant just waiting to come full circle in my area. Did we need power this bad, I think not. Growth? Every body that believes in this kind of fake unsustainable growth can take it and shove it right up their ***! Well that's about it for me. Consider this paper to be just nicking the edges of our current state of madness. I kept it pretty focused to make a few points. Just keep calling me nuts, stupid anarchist, and yadda yadda. Whatever. Maybe my government will reward me with a jail cell in Leavenworth with a nice view of the start of the Oregon trail, no I'd rather die first. I prefer to die standing on my feet, not on my knees. daedout Source: Hackthissite.org
