Well... that was 2023, I suppose. Almost... a couple of days to go!

Has been a long time since I sat and wrote anything here. Since the
summer, we managed to actually buy a house and move in. House stuff,
work, and other general life things have kept me busy.

It's good to be settled somewhere properly now. There's lots of stuff
on the to-do list for the new (120 year old) house, but we are quite
central in a town rather than outside of a tiny village with cows for
neighbours.

Have taken the opportunity, over a Christmas break, to get my Sun
Blade setup nicely in the new place, and use its mushy keyboard. This
afternoon has seen a modern version of SSH installed on Solaris 9
(from jupiterrise.com tgcware), and now it is a bit more
useful. Perhaps it will be the preferred place to write gopher things,
and connect to IRC this coming year?

Haven't been listening to enough music lately. Must pull my records
out more frequently in 2024. Also need to start attending the Cornwall
Geeks meetups in Truro, and drop in to some local political and
historical group things.

Hope anyone reading this had a good 2023... and is looking forward to
2024.
