I am back once again after a few months. I recently discovered (When trying to implement a client for gemini) that gopher lines are supposed to be kept to 80 characters. I just counted them out so I should theoretically be within the standard... It's currently 4:26am at Illinois' wonderful Champaign-Urbana campus. I'm currently wating for my partner to finish wiring up our controller unit for a project in our "Digital Systems Lab" course. I know what you may be thinking, "Shouldn't you be doing something other than phlogging? Like helping him wire?" Perhaps, but our breadboard is getting a bit cramped with all the components on it, and I feel that two people trying to wire an IC on a breadboard starts to get into "too many cooks in the kitchen" territory. Plus I made all the schematics and 'solved' the k-maps, so I think I've earned myself the right to phlog, atleast for a bit. We've been here since ~6pm, so we've been working on this about 10 1/2 hours now. I'd like to think that upon graduation, working such lengths in a single day will be a thing of the past. But hearing about how programmers get worked in industry doesn't really make me hopeful for such a future. I've also noticed that many phog posts are much shorter than I usually make them... So I'll wrap this up here. Until next time!
