Letters Home from NE Asia In February 2003, I left Michigan to begin my adventure in northeastern Asia. I went as an English teacher with some folks from TEAM. They helped me find a teaching position at a university. That spring might be remembered as the time of the SARS epidemic. Nevertheless, I did not come home until January 2004, during the month-long Spring Holiday. When I returned to NE Asia, I was a part-time English teacher, a part-time worker in the office of the TEAM people's company, and a part-time language student at the university. I came home suddenly at the end of June 2004. A lot of people were very kind and helpful to me when I was abroad. I appreciate the expatriates in Harbin and my company members, my friends and family who kept in touch with me, the wonderful residents of NE Asia, and many other people who helped me or brightened my days. Therefore, if I can do anything to help you, let me know. You may notice that I'm vague about some stuff, but if you ask I might give you more specifics. Please contact me if you have questions or if there is anything wrong with my pages. Remove "nospam" and "invalid" from my e-mail address: . Updated 2008-1-6
