Christina's 5 questions for febrary 2023 Well, we're already the 23th of febrary; but I guess it's still not too late to answer Christina's five questions for this month. Let's dig into it: 1. Do you offer advice to close friends who seem to struggle (e.g. obsession with unrequited love object, executive dysfunction, unhealthful eating or drinking patterns) or do you wait for them to solicit advice from you? I'd say I tend to wait for them to solicit advice from me. But they don't need to formely ask for an advice; I mean if they start to talk about a subject, I might, by myself, offer some insights. On an other hand, if I know they have some problems, I may try to launch a general discussion around it to see, first, if they want to talk about it and, second, if they want some help. But I'll certainly not and never give some advices out of the blue. 2. What is the best view where you live? I live in Toulouse, France. It's a common knowledge that it's a pretty nice city (just look at the pictures available online) but personally I don't like it too much. However, once, I had the opportunity to go on the rooftop of the Theatre/Opera. It gives an amazing view on the city, specially when the sun is coming down. I even took a picture of the panorama from there but I don't recall where I saved it. It's said that the best and most beautiful view on the city is from a nearby hill (whose name I have currently forgotten) but I have never been there. And, uh, it's said too that one shouldn't be on that hill after dark unless one want to be phished by prostitues. 3. What useful skill would you want a nontech-inclined friend to learn? Could be a technical or a life skill. No skill in particular but, and I'll sound like a prepper (which is something I tend to become, especially since the birth of my son), whatever skill necessary to survive what's coming. 4. Is there a habit, initiative, or project you'd undertake if you had a supportive buddy or partner to join you? Or at least volunteer care of your dependents during your undertaking? If yes, what is it? Buy a sailboat, and go travel/live on the water. A bit like Rek and Devine from the artist collective Hundred Rabbits (100r.co), or like Hugh Howey the scifi writer. 5. What is your favourite slow cooker recipe, or slow cooker recipe repository? ("I don't have one" is a perfectly valid response if true, in which case I would ask you to name and describe your favourite clock tower) (To be read with a french accent please) Definitely, the boeuf bourguignon!
