Tomasino brought up a really good point about the Gopher 2.0 ideas[0]: make it
a new protocol. I'm *completely* behind this, as it'd not only give people the
features they want, but also leave Gopher for those who prefer the even more
simple parts of the Gopher protocol we have.

And I have a name suggestion for it: /Meerkat/. The burrowing savanah dweller that have large families... Much like pubnix groups, if you think about it.

Just a thought.
