For the last 3 days, I was on the road, traveling to Bragg Creek to play music with 2 other sound healer. The event was held in a 100 years old, rounded community center all made of wood. The accoustice were really good for the type of sound we created. I had my mopho 4x, my new looper Aeros loop station, my shakuachi, a frame drum, darbuka, shakers... The 2 other healer had 4 massive gongs each, many bowls and chimes. The event was simple and nice, the main comment being "You've really undersold this event!" I led with a yoga nidra practice, let the gong fill the space and then closed with a Shakuhachi (with reverb from the Avalanche Run.) A bit of micro-dose of psylocibe made me more sensitive to the sounds, the people and the other "energies" that were in the room. We spent 3 days all together, jamming, talking about collective, healing, sound and future plans for the summer (we're having a couple more events) and for the next few years (Mexico maybe?) After the event, I saw a person who I though was charming. My first reaction was "nope, you're in a relationship" To then realized, I am not anymore. What did I talk about? Unfortunately, my break up... I tried to save it by saying how theatrical it was, but it kept getting weirder. I then turn around to present my daugther to this person. After the uncomfortable moment, my daugther told me that she'd be happy if I'd be in a relationship with this person. I told my daughter that I will ask her permission to date anyone, as she is the most important person in my life now. Note to self: don't talk about your break-up with strangers. It was good to be out of the house. The relationship, or the lack of relationship, has become quite toxic at home. Not in a loud way but in this strange sensation that my now ex-wife is deeply suffering from her own confusion. I don't know what to do for her, and I offered her a hug, which made her cry and went to hide in her room. I'm planing to move out for a while in the summer, while she figure out her/our life... Of course the septic pump was broken when I came back home, and the smell was all over the property. The pump had been running for a while, warming up the water to almost a boiling point. You can imagine the rest.
