# [2019.04.28] Armagnac Older Than Me The time has come to say au revoir to France. I will miss its wines and cheese, and, of course, my comrade who gave shelter to us for several days and taught us several local tricks. It's relatively not expensive to buy quite an old Armagnac in France, so I tasted one bottled in 1979, seven years before my birth. That was really strange to comprehend. In Moscow, we, at first, continued a tradition of our Parisian evenings: Bordeaux wine, Roquefort, baguette (named Parisian but baked in Moscow:)), and macaroons. But alas, food finishes fast, especially when shared with friends;)
