Connection.
This concept is becoming important to me
The sparkgap which is created when one node,
You,
is connected to another node
Another human in existence
One of the eight billion

The connection can be colorful
Can become permanently linked
Can be like no other connection ever made
In the vast and endless network
Of the conscious soul

Sometimes the entire network, even disconnected nodes, can be felt at once
An entire consciousness
Somehow greater than your own
And yet each individual connection
Seems somehow intense

Love, friendship, family
Aquaintance, apathy
Touch,
Feeling,
Care,
Connection.

The ties that bind
Electric and unending
Which last even beyond the veil
Import me into an existence
Greater than my own understanding
And connect me
To those whom I love
And all which I experience
