Another hardware failure: Agenda VR3

After a year or two in storage, my Agenda PDA was turned on [1][2]. And I have
found that one vertical line of pixels (neard in the center of screen) is dead.
This is not good, especially because this is my only Agenda VR3 [3] and the
device itself is very rare. 

I don't think that the problem is screen cable as there are no moving parts
which can be able to damage the cable (and I'm not brave enough to disassemble
such rare device...).

Well, I will probably have to strenghten my Palm III and Zaurus collection (as
these machines I use - less or more - on a daily basis) in order to have more
working devices available... Unfortunately, there is probably no chance to get
another Agenda VR3 :-(
