Printer failure

Today I have tried to upgrade memory in my printer (HP LaserJet 1200 Series).
So I put the memory module inside the slot, closed everything, turned it on and
... nothing happens. None of control lights works and pressing of button
produces no control print. The printer starts as usually, something is rotating
inside (as always) but that's all.

Of course I have tried to remove the memory but it changed nothing. SO the
printer is probably dead.
