Fan noise

One might hope that modern laptops with non-mechanical disk drives (like the
SSD) will be quiet. But they aren't. Ant the smallest does not mean the
quietest.

My GPD Pocket has only one fan. I'm not sure how much fans has the old good
Lenovo X60 or X61s but both are much quieter than the tiny GPD Pocket (even
with working thermal management the Pocket's fan is spilling very often and it
produces unpleasant sound - it's not loud but I do not like that sound). The
Lenovo machines have fans which may be louder (it is valid for the X60 at
least) but the sound is more acceptable. The X61s (which has a low-power CPU)
is almost quiet.

By the way, the small fan inside the Intel Compute Stick also produced a sound
which I also disliked.
