For those few readers...

Recently I was reading a book on my Kindle - it was something about history,
nothing special - and then I saw this:

"For those few readers not conversant in Akkadian, the English translation
is..."

Of course, I cannot speak nor read the Akkadian language! (the last time when
was this language actively used was before more than 3000 years) 
The book was "1177 b.c., The year civilization collapsed" by Eric H. Cline.
It's a book which is normally available at the Amazon and is even available in
a Kindle version. And it's a nice book for those who are interested in history
of ancient civilizations, by the way.

But still - I never expected that a book which is clearly not aimed on
historians will expect that the common reader will understand Akkadian. What
I have to expect the next time?
