FireFox 57 ========== There was a "security update" available for Ubuntu. It have included the FireFox browser. So I have installed it and now I have the FireFox 57. Already being warned by Cameron's blog [1] I didn't expected anything good. Yes, it's marginally faster than the older FireFox versions (at least on my Lenovo X61s with the Core2 Duo CPU) but it's ugly, it isn't intuitive and it's lost the possibility to have a native Gopher extensions (the Cameron's Overbite). So I have installed the OverbiteWX [2]. The immediate result of the upgrade is that I started to use the Lynx much more than I did in the past.
