Writing on pocket devices

I am writing this  text on a Sony PEG-UX50/U just to  test if is easier
than on the Sharp Netwalker.

Yes, it is. The  keyboard of the Sony is terrible but  is is still much
better than the one of the Netwalker. On the later I am never sure if I
press the key  enough and the keys themselves are  moving freely to all
directions.  I think  that  this must  be  one of  the  reasons of  the
Netwalker market  failure. A fine  tiny laptop device (5"  screen) with
full Ubuntu OS. But the OS was  not optimised (the device feels slow by
default -  it is possible to  tune it but it  is not a task  for normal
user) and its main selling point - the keyboard - is actually terrible.
Hardware-wise the  keyboard is the  weakest part of the  Netwalker. The
screen  if fine,  the tiny  touchpad is  actually easy  to use  and its
battery life is OK. But that keyboard...

It is hard  to understand how it was possible  because the SL-Cxxx line
of  Sharp Zaurus  machines had  extremely good  keyboards (indefinitely
better than this poor Sony PEG-UX50/U has).
