Audio CDs

After many years I decided to find some  of my old audio CDs and try to
listen them on a computer. I have relatively large collection of them.

Now I am running my SGI Indy with the external CD drive, reading Gopher
(with the Netscape 5) and listening the Yellow Submarine.

The Indy  has just a  tiny speaker under the  front panel. But  it seem
that it  is good  enough (it is  at least better  than 99%  of ordinary
external speakers which people connect to their computers).

By the way, it seems that Logout  [1] was right when he wrote some time
ago that  the best form  factor of workstations  it the pizza  box. I'm
thinking to  move the Indy from  its current position (it's  outside my
desk) to the  position under the monitor. It;s very  convenient to have
both speaker and hardware volume control in front of me.
