FVWM -> 4Dwm, part 2 ==================== I have been trying to set up the FVWM window manager on my ODROID. For some reasons I decided to make it look like 4Dwm of the IRIX OS (and not as my usual grey-green MWM-like setup which I use on my O2). For the start I decided to adapt the setup [1]. Probably it worked in the past but today there are problems: there is well-looking ToolChest menu (it looks like the original one) but it does now work. Also window decorations are not perfect. And keyboard shortcuts are very basic. Any way it looks well. So I fixed virtual desktop size, added some shortcuts from my old setup and did some other polishing. It's still not fully functional (and it never be as functional as my FVWM setup ion the SGI O2 because some things behave in different ways on different systems) but I'm still working on it. A modern Linux has a lot of strange things so I have add to use the "stalonetray" tool to dock some of indicators. I will have to add more of them later but at the moment I'm at least able to switch keyboard layouts in a normal way. At the moment the main benefit of using FVWM is a bit more responsible system which can be easily controlled by keyboard. There are some issues but the most of such things work relatively well. When I will have something really working then I will publish it, of course. References: [1] https://fvwmforums.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=2581
