Blackbird Update 11

Finally, it  works (less or more)!  I have installed the  Fedora 30. It
was not ideal. I have learned that it DOES NOT include all the software
that  I need.  There is  no libgd2  [1] library  and also  no SILO  [2]
library. But those things can be fixed later.

The  build-in HDMI  output  works only  in  some resolutions  (640x480,
800x600,  102x768). My  LCD (it's  the old  good ViewSonic  VP171b) has
1280x1024  so I  have  had to  create my  own  Xorg configuration  file
(/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/21-gpu-driver.conf) with a proper modeline:

Please note that the complete file is  much longer - one should copy it
from the RCS Wiki [3] and modify to fit his/her hardware!

The Fedora also makes the "/" partition  of size about 16 GB by default
(my drive is a 512 GB SDD) so one might need to resize it [4].

At the moment I use the MATE environment. I already installed the FVWM but
I will try how it works later.

I must say that now I am  satisfied with performance of the system. I'm
not sure if I  am able to effectively use the  four-core CPU (every CPU
does four threads).  Of course there is only 2D  graphics at the moment
but I plan to  add the 3D one when I will be  sure that there is enough
cooling in the computer case (I'm  going to change configuration of the
fans).
