Battery Life

(Warning: it's  an older text  I have found on  my MC600 laptop.  But I
think that It is still valid.)

How long  can your laptop survive  in suspend? One week?  Three months?
Well, I just opened  my PSION MC400 (a laptop made  by PSION which uses
their OS - the early version of the  SIBO which is more known as OS for
PSION Series 3 and Workabout devices).

I replaced the batteries (8xAA) before more than 20 months. Of course I
ran it  for just few times  and usually for few  minutes. The batteries
still have  over 30% of  their capacity.  They are modern  ENELOOPs, of
course. Anyway,  this is not so  bad battery life! The  newer DOS-based
MC600 laptop is not so good, though.

Update:  I have  had  to replace  the backup  battery  today. The  main
batteries are still working.
