Z88 computing

Note: I wrote this psot some weeks  ago on my Z88 and just now uploaded
it here.


The new semester has started so I  have little time for my hobbies. The
Z88 can offer only  little help now because I am in front  of one of my
desktops for the  most of time. I have been  improving my presentations
and other  materials. We are expecting  that we will have  to switch to
on-line courses  in short time so  good materials for students  will be
essential.  And the  old Z88  of course  cannot run  pdfLaTeX or  other
tools...

Anyway, I'm still learning how to use it. I have the QuickEdit with the
English spell checker  here so I am  able to use it as  a portable text
editor (to write  down ideas when I  am in my bedroom,  for example). I
have postponed my plan to create some PipeDream templates for something
useful. Also no new  BASIC code has been written on the  Z88 or for the
Z88 (I should  finish my current Tcl/Tk project first).

At least I have  got a new pouch for the Z88. I  already have a plastic
screen/keyboard protector  (with the  original Z88  logo) but  I didn't
feel that  it is enough.  So I have  got a pseudo-leather  laptop pouch
from the UGREEN. It is a cheap  looking plastic thing from China but it
covers all  sides of the  Z88 and it fits  it almost ideally  (there is
some 100 of free  space on the side. It is medium gray  and it does not
imitate leather surface too well but it feels both soft and solid. So I
am quite happy with this new accessory for my Z88. :-)
