Backups on Palm

I have  little luck  with my  Palms recently. The  Tungsten W  seems to
be  dead  (I think  that  its  battery died  and  will  try to  find  a
replacement). Some time  ago I wrote here  how I lost all  my Palm IIIx
data because I forgot to replace the batteries.

Yesterday  the same  happened with  my TRGpro  (a Palm  III clone,  you
know). But the TRGpro has a  CompactFlash slot. And I am making backups
on regular basic.

So I replaced  batteries, restored data from backup  and adjusted time.
And that  was all, Now it  is ready to  work once more. No  desktop was
needed for this procedure.
