Crazy January

I expected  that this January  will be calm  and sleepy because  of the
COVID-19 restrictions but I was wrong.

Everyone wanted to  catch the time, to finish delayed  tasks and so on.
Thus I had little time for my hobbies and too little free time at all.

I have started to use my new  Automatic Luch watch and almost ceased to
use Palms and SGIs. I have had just a few reasons to carry a PDA (now I
spent most of  working time in front of a  desktop computer, almost all
meetings are just virtual) and had no time to repair my SGI O2.

So I  use the Dell desktop  at work (W10/WSL) and  the Raptor Blackbird
(POWER9/Fedora) for  90% of  my computer needs...  Well, before  I have
found time to  publish this article the Dell have  became unusable (see
my another  post for  details). I'm going  to use my  work laptop  as a
desktop. I hope that  it will survive this style of  use. My old Lenovo
x60s was used in such way for  more than 6 years and if never recovered
from that. :-(


I wrote this  text on the TRGpro  with GoType keyboard to  take a break
from desktop usage...
