First bike ride this year

I  have got  a new  bicycle: the  Brompton H6R.  It is  a folding  bike
but  when unfolded  it  is quite  comfortable  to ride.  I  also got  a
(second-hand) Brompton  Metro backpack.  The bike has  a front  port to
attach such  bags. When attached the  bag is very stable.  There are no
vibration nor other similar problems.

Being so well equipped I decided to  try a shopping ride. That is, ride
for 9 km  mostly downwards and then return back  with some 10 kilograms
of food, mostly uphill.

In short:  it was  quite easy.  The bike  is much  better that  one can
thought.  The only  problem was  my inexperience  with folding.  I even
displaced the bike chain during folding. Ride time was less or more the
same as for ride on my mountain bike.
