Palm backup issues

Once  more I  forgot to  replace  batteries in  my TRGpro  (a Palm  III
clone). I was never an issue as the TRGpro has a CompactFlash card slot
(which is only good for making backups).

But  this time  the  recovery procedure  (which  always worked  before)
failed. It said that the device OS is of noncompatible version... Maybe
this time I have lost more than just the apps?

So I have  had to try the alternative approach:  to recovery the device
from the JPilot backups. This  never worked for me before. Fortunately,
this time it have worked so my device AND ALL APPLICATIONS AND DATA are
once more available to me.

At leas something works these days...
