PSION Series 3 Spell Checker

Yesterday I have  got a parcel with a "Spell  Checker and Thesaurus for
PSION Series 3" on a PSION SSD card. It also have included the manual.

The manual declared that the software have to work with the PSION MC400
laptop, too. The  only requirement was the PSION  Word processor (which
was available as a part of -  paid - system upgrade in 1992). Well, how
they palnned  to sell this  device if  the first proper  word processor
(the basic  requirement of a  common computer user) was  available only
THREE (if not FOUR  - the first MC400s were from  1988) years after the
computer was introduced? And the  spell checker was available only some
time after  that... You  may remember that  things were  advancing very
fast in 1990s, a year-old computer  was obsolete then. And these people
left their  customers without  such basic kind  software for  years! No
wonder that the MC line was unsuccessful.


Well, the  manual was right  at least.  The spell checker  software was
installed and it have been integrated itself into the Word. It seems to
be English-only but  it works nicely (no,  I have not used  it to check
this text). So I finally have the spell checking software for my MC400!
