MNT Reform keyboard

I have bought the  MNT Reform keyboard [1]. I might  got the MNT Reform
laptop itself so I have wanted to be prepared.

Well,  the keyboard  is unusual  (as probably  anything that  goes from
Lukas). Its  layout is even  more, well  unusual. I can  understand the
Ctrl instead of the CapsLock but the divided spacebar is something very
unusual. The righ Shift is too small for my liking I have to say.

Also the backlight isn't perfect - it is adjustable but smaller symbols
located in the bottom half of keys are hard to see. 

The  supplied  adjustably  support  is   way  too  short  to  make  any
difference. But one can made his/her own, of course.

Now the positives:  it is a mechanical keyboard but  not too noisy one.
Feedback of  keys is very  good even if key  travel is short.  Keys are
replaceable and the whole thing is programmable: not only key functions
can  be modified  but also  the small  display on  the keyboard  can be
controled (one can write its own firmware for such functions - at least
one user already wrote it).

The keyboard work well with any modern computer (USB 2 is required). At
the moment I use it with my  work computer (that means PS with Windows)
but I also  tried it with my OpenPOWER Linux  workstation (there it can
be of better use but I'm not wiling to replace my old good SGI keyboard
at home).

To be  honest, I dare  to play  with the firmware.  So I still  use the
stock one. Maybe one day I will  do something with it.

If you ask about usability - I am using it as my main work keyboard for
more than a  week. Few first days  were not easy but when  I learned to
use it and there are no longer  any issues. It seems that on a computer
where I use  the mouse it seems  to be better to have  a small keyboard
like this one.

So I am rather happy with my purchase.
