Cleanup ======= Well, no really. I have been trying to tidy my desk but with little success. I put two external SCSI devices to my desk: a DDS-4 tape drive and the floppy drive. Both of them have original "granite" SGI enclosures and they are meant to be connected to my SGI O2 (but only when I will find the correct SCSI cable!). At the moment they are used just to put the SGI 1600SW LCD a bit higher. This is also important as it allows me to use the screen more comfortably. But it should not be the main role of such devices, of course. I also removed some documents, pens and other such things from my desk. Some of them I have put behind the 1600SW so there is less think in front of me. I also put the "new" router (the Turris MOX - it wass sitting on my desk for years but it was newer powered on) to storage. U once planned to use it as a replacement of my old TP Link but newer have done the change. Maybe next year. Also I removed the desk calendar. It was just for 2021, after all. I didn't got a new one so now I have to rely on the cal(1) command. I had plans to replace my old good SGI granite keyboard with a MNT Reform one. But I decided to move the MNT (it's just the external keyboard, I don't own the notebook) to work and continue to use the proven equipment at home (If you are interested - I also use the SGI "granite" mouse of the latest shape). At the end I have cleaned a few square centimeters on my desktop but little has been actually changed. My current setup is: - EIZO 24" LCD (1920x1200) - SGI "granite" keyboard (shared by all desktops) - SGI "granite" mouse (shared by all desktops) - KVM switch (used just to switch the keyboard and the mouse) - external SCSI floppy drive - external SCSI tape drive - SGI 17.4" 1600SW LCD (1600x1024) - Raptor Engineering BlackBird (4xPOWER9, RAM 32 GB, black case) - Silicon Graphics (SGI) O2 (MIPS R10000, 250MHz, RAM 768MB) - TRGpro (Palm IIIXe) with dock (connected to the BlackBird) - pair of Creative Pebble speakers - notepad and pen - Punkt USB charger - some minor things (cables, yellow notes, mugs and so on)
