Linux @work

After many years long break I have  started to use the Linux at work. I
use  the Lenovo  x61s connected  to the  24" screen  and to  the shared
keyboard and  mouse (I  have got a  modern 12-core AMD  box as  my main
computer recently, it has to run Windows, of course).

I use  the Linux  machine for  teaching purposes  (for making  of LaTeX
slides, for drafting  of XFig images and  so on). I also  do some light
programming/debugging here.

Actually, I am waiting for a  new device: the MNT Reform. Most probably
it will not  be faster than the  old good x61s but (being  a newly made
device) it should  be more reliable. After all, the  x61s was already a
second-hand device when I got it in 2011.
