New battery for the GPD Pocket

Few days ago I have received the new GPD battery. It is of the "HSABAT"
brand (I have  no idea what company  it is but it seems  they made many
types of batteries for many niche devices).

It fits perfectly in the device  and the package included the necessary
tools. It was probably pre-charged as the GPD booted immediately.

So far  I fully charged the  battery and tried to  update the software,
passwords and  other stuff which  have changed  from the moment  of the
failure of the old battery.

At the moment I  have no idea about battery life: as  it is typical for
the  GPD  (with  its  relatively  weak Atom  CPU)  the  system  expects
something about  15 hours for  normal work (writing,  compiling, TeXing
and so) but only  about 3.5 hours or so when  the Firefox is running...
;-)

I will see how  it will work and how long it will  last. So far the GPD
batteries  failed in  every  2 years.  I  hope that  this  one will  be
better...

In  other  news: the  first  anniversary  of  my  MNT Reform  order  (a
post-crowdfunding one) passed  in August and I still  have nothing. The
last reaction  from the  CrowdSupply/Mouser was in  June (they  told me
that they are unable  to send the device to me in an  usual way so they
will use a different shipping company and will send it soon)...

So I am glad I have have managed to make the humble GPD working again!
