Tangara ======= There is an interesting open hardware project - the Tangara music player [1]. It seems to be something visually and functionally similar to the old Apple's music players from early 2000s but made from zero with use of modern components. The device runs an open-source software and it looks cool. However, I have had the Apple's one in (late) 2000s and while it was cool initially I remember I actually had little use for it. Basically, there were little occasions to use such device and now it's even worse as I'm used to commute on a bike. So I'm not sure if I really want to spent more than 200 EUR for something I will potentially may not use. I'm not sure about hackability of such functionally limited devices. Maybe others will have different opinions.... References: [1] https://www.crowdsupply.com/cool-tech-zone/tangara
