It Finally Broke - Rotring 300, 2.0mm

    The weak collet jaw in my personal Rotring 300 finally snapped
off.  This only took five months after my initial review.  It will be
replaced with a more robust yet less cushy Staedtler.  Unless I find
another 2.0mm lead holder tht looks promising before getting another
of the sturdy German things.

    I should track down some 2.0mm leads with the little, metal
retainer ring on top while I am at it.  Fewer people borrowing my
pencil for a moment would eject the entire lead to smash on the
ground.  My bad for not giving a heads-up but still cheap insurance.

    This is what my life has come to: protective devices for
individual pencil leads.
