Theoretically, there's no reason not to; hard drives tend to be
   used for state saving procedures; swap memory; paging; whatever
   ppl wanna call it... but I still wonder if someone h...as tried;
   you'd still have some need to recourse to silicon of course; the
   operation of the hard drives themselves, the CPU, GPU and other
   such.... but stlil... I wonder if anybody has tried? There's
   mechanical issues; wear and tear might be tremendous if done
   incorrectly; and hard drives, being linear (fancy record ... "
