I was going to be a teacher. Took some courses. Gave me a love
   of history. The teacher had bombastic opinions such as,

   "The Native Americans in the North are lazy compared to the
   Native Americans in the South."

   He believed it. Totally shocked me.... AND I loved the challenge
   of trying to prove him wrong by attacking his capitalistic
   American worldview.

   The sign that he was a good teacher? He didn't make my grades
   lower because I disagreed with him.
