The people that aren't narcissistic aren't in this comment
   thread. They're not on facebook. Simply BEING HERE makes us "one
   o them" P embrace it. Studies that become spread on popular
   media present shocking/startling ideas that get spread, and make
   the people who wrote them popular in THEIR little
   statistics/scientist/whatever club. Their bosses see it, it gets
   them more funding for their robot-that-takes-over-the-world
   project or whatever. tongue emoticon
