I'm a fan of gamification. I usually do so with effectiveness,
   efficiency and speed challenges.

   "They say" (I don't remember who said) that you can't have
   effectiveness and efficiency together, but I believe you can, if
   you keep them both in mind simultaneously, without shortchanging
   one for the other.
