That's the Utopian dream of many. But the problems that people
   blame on "religion", I believe are more political problems and
   if, hypothetically speaking, religion removed from humanity in
   one fell swoop - or even over a period of generations, the same
   kinds of problems and issues will continue.. but then instead of
   saying "A world without religion is a better world", they'll be
   saying "A world without [some theoretical
   construct/methodology/whatever] will be a better world".

   No, I don't believe in Utopias. They make for good Science
   Fiction, but that's it.
